Jake spent much of the weekend in a motorcycle safety course, so the girls and I decided to pitch their tent in the living room for fun. We had a blast playing in there! Kennedy decided that she wanted to sleep in the tent. She spent two nights "camping-in" with her sleeping bag, pillow, stuffed animals, books, and water bottle. Jake and I checked on her before we went to bed, and she looked quite comfortable. Sunday night Kennedy was sound asleep when our power went out for four hours, starting at 10 pm. Too bad because she would have loved a real reason to use her flashlight! She's very excited for our annual family camp-out next month!
