Macy had her 1-year-old check-up, and she's doing great! But, she's not big enough to face forward in her car seat. Actually, I don't think she minds riding backwards at all. Macy is 28 3/4 inches tall (40th percentile), 19 pounds 4 ounces (25th percentile), and has a head circumference of 18 1/4 (75th percentile). One of my co-workers suggested that maybe her big head is throwing off her balance and delaying her first steps. Even with these stats, somehow she still manages to look chunky (which is just so cute on a baby) - it's all in her cheeks, bum and thighs.

Not big enough
