Trip to the aquarium

Jake promised Kennedy a trip to the aquarium on Sunday. She's been wanting to go see the new amazon exhibit since we heard about it on the radio. We had a slow morning that started off with Kennedy joining us in bed. She's not one for snuggling, but lately we've been hearing lots of "I want mama," "mama can change my diaper" and "mama can carry me." Kennedy's also a little jealous when I'm feeding Macy and she will say "She's all done eating" or "She's not wanting the other side" or "She's not needing to burp." I try to tell her that Macy gets to decide when she wants to eat and when she's all done, but it's hard not to do my best to accommodate the other requests. I know it's tough to be a big sister. 

After a quick trip to Costco we drove out to the aquarium. Kennedy was talking the whole way about how "the quarie-web opens at 11:00" and "they have a really big snake!" We had a nice time seeing the fish and I apologize to the octopus for using the flash on the camera. I didn't read the sign until after I'd taken a few pictures. Macy slept the whole time, so we'll have to go back when she's a little older.
